Hollywood's Most Glamorous Night - THE OSCARS!

I am so jealous of everyone who is HOSTING or ATTENDING an Oscar party! I'm going to resolve myself to watching it in my pajamas Sunday night with my boyfriend after we get back from Disney World.

What movies have you seen that are nominated? Who do you hope wins?

I've actually been really behind on the newest movies so I have to watch them after they come out on video but the ones that REALLY interest me are The Help, Midnight in Paris and The Artist. They just seem like very heartwarming movies.

The news outlets are all reporting glimpses of what they predict people will be wearing, who will win the coveted award and what will Wolfgang Puck be serving! It's his 18th consecutive year creating the menu for the Academy Awards Governor Ball.

Apparently this year, Chef Puck will be serving 50 different dishes!

I googled his 2011 menu and it was QUITE extensive! If anyone wants to get some inspiration for what to serve or bring to their get-together this weekend, here you go! Executive Pastry Chef Sherry Yard created the desserts.

Love the Oscar moments you highlighted. (my fav dresses of all time are Hallie Berry and Sandra Bullock's dresses when they won) Like you, I'll be in my pajamas....if someone says "who are you wearing" I could answer "flannel". Enjoy the weekend.

I really enjoyed all three of the movies you mentioned - they definitely take you back to different times and places. You showed some beautiful gowns!

I thought this year that Penelope Cruz's gown was gorgeous.
